Lantern-Making Workshop
Triangle L Ranch
Mykl Wells will bring some materials and an example lantern. Mykl will share his technique for making cardboard lanterns with windows in which you can place fabric, paper or even ink-jet printed images. He will be bringing some materials to share. If you could help participate by bringing some items you have on hand that would be great! Our mission is to line the road into GLOW with illuminated, hanging lanterns. You can then have your creations back and use them for the All Souls Procession or anywhere your heart desires.
Lantern Ingredients: White Glue - Hot Glue Guns and Hot Glue Gun Glue is GREAT; Disposable "snap blade" knives - we'll have a bunch on hand; Tin Snips that you don't mind messing up; 2" wide tape masking - shipping or gaffers work well; Cardboard - bigger boxes are better; A battery powered light of some sort; Paper or sheer fabric that light can pass through.
